It is a high-energy event with a focus on leading students into a deeper relationship with Christ through worship and biblical teaching. Overflow is a large Christian event for students from across denominations. The event exists to impact this generation with the powerful message of Jesus through creative worship and biblical teaching. Our recommended age range for the event is 12-24, however, the general sessions are mainly geared towards high school-aged students.

WHAT IS TIME OUT
TIME OUT is a valuable retreat that provides a time of refreshing for new pastors in ministry. At this retreat, we aim to provide ministry for the minister in both a personal and practical way, including spiritually refreshing sessions for all who attend. It is a chance to relax with your family, get poured into with worship, biblical teaching, and ministry times, and meet with old and new friends.

WHO IS TIME OUT
TIME OUT is for pastors within their first 10 years in ministry within WOD. This includes those in Full Time, Part Time, Bi-vocational and Volunteer pastoral roles. Sessions will be directed to people in ministry who are in their twenties, thirties and early forties.

We are taking our Time Out Conference which normally happens in January and shifting it to be part of the PAOC National Conference next May at the Niagara Convention Centre. This event will not only be open to WOD pastors but to other districts across Canada. More info and registration coming in 2024.

Summer Vibes One Day Retreat

WOD Youth Ministries is hosting a one-day Retreat we are hosting at Braeside Camp on Monday, August 24th (when Activate would have been). The plan is to have Youth Pastors (with optional spouse/family) come for a day of training where we hear from some of our District leaders about how to come out of COVID specifically focussing on Youth Ministry. Cost is $15/adult and that includes session, lunch and swimming. Sessions will go from (approx.) 9:00 am to 12:30 pm. Then leaders will have the rest of the day to stay and enjoy the campground, pool, tuck shop, etc. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out to Nicole.
