MIKE MILLER

Mike and his wife Nancy and their two children, Joshua and Mattie, live in the Halifax, Nova Scotia area. Mike travels throughout Canada and the United States preaching and teaching. Mike and Nancy are passionate about Halifax and the people who live here. In 2016 they embarked on a journey to plant Nova Church Halifax. Together with the Nova Dream Team, the Millers officially launched Nova Church in September 2017. It has been a breathtaking adventure and the best is yet to come!

TIM WOODCOCK

Tim is currently the Lead Pastor at Glad Tidings Church in Burlington, Ontario. Tim has pastored both in the US and Canada. For twenty years, he pastored in Bloomington, Indiana right on the University of Indiana’s campus. It was there that Tim got to be a part of an incredible church that experienced a great revival amongst university students as well as partner with a para-church campus mission’s initiative known as Chi Alpha. Tim taught biblical Interpretation for their Campus Missionaries In Training internship that has planted campus missionaries all over the US. Tim and his family moved to Canada in March of 2021 and feel that God has called them back to Canada for such a time as this. “I still feel humbled and honoured that God would allow me these incredible opportunities to be a pastor and leader in His church.” Tim has a strong desire to see the church equipped with a deep understanding of God’s Word and their identity as Sons and Daughters in the Kingdom rule and reign of Jesus. “I still believe that the local church is God’s plan in accomplishing His mission in the world.”

cindy rose

Cindy serves as the District's Children and Family Ministries Director. She is married to Mark and is mom to their two sons, Curtis and Aaron. She has been involved in kids ministry for over 20 years, travelling across Canada with Rubber Chicken Company, serving on staff at churches in kids ministry, and teaching and speaking at various leadership events. Her passions include helping people grow in their gifts and abilities, equipping leaders with tools and resources to effectively disciple children and families, and seeing people come to know Jesus. Cindy loves being creative in ministry, and thinking "outside of the box".

WENDY PAYNE 

Wendy Payne has been in ministry for over 30 years. She is a Church Planter, Author of 3 books, Podcaster of a Podcast Show called “Coffee Date With Purpose”, and is currently the Section Pastor (Presbyter) of the Hamilton Section and the Lead Pastor at Cedarview Church in Paris, Ontario.  

Wendy is extremely passionate for Jesus and counts each opportunity to share the word of God to others an incredible blessing! She has spoken all over Canada in different churches, conferences, retreats, and camps.

Wendy had been married to her husband Darrel for over 30 years, they have 3 daughters, 1 son-in-law and 3 incredibly adorable grandchildren!

When Wendy isn’t doing ministry things, she generally can be found in a coffee shop having coffee with someone laughing and having a good time. Her zeal for life and Jesus is contagious and it is truly her hope that people find as much joy in Jesus as she does.
