GENERAL
WHEN IS ACTIVATE?
Activate runs from Thursday evening until Sunday at lunch time.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ATTEND ACTIVATE?
Activate is targeted at students in high school, however we will allow youth leaders to bring students turning 12 this year up to age 18.
DO I HAVE TO REGISTER WITH A GROUP?
Yes. Activate is a group event, and students must be registered with their leaders.
HOW DO I GET TO BRAESIDE CAMP?

CAN WE JUST COME FOR EVENING SERVICES?
Thursday, August 22 (7:30pm) will be the only service available to the public, at a cost of $15 per person. All other services and activities will be closed to event registrants only.
WHAT SHOULD I BRING TO ACTIVATE?
Sleeping bag, pillow, toiletries, towel, one-piece bathing suit, sports/casual clothes, bandages, Bible, pen, notebook, alarm clock, and tuck shop money.
WHAT SHOULDN’T I BRING TO ACTIVATE?
Limited use of phones and electronic equipment will be permitted. The use of electronics will not be permitted during services or other scheduled activities. Bringing valuables to Activate will be at your own risk. The Student Collective and Braeside Camp are not responsible for lost or stolen items.
While this is not a nut-free facility, out of courtesy for all campers, please do not bring nuts or items containing nuts.
REGISTRATION
CAN I REGISTER BY PHONE, FAX, OR EMAIL?
No, we will not be receiving registrations by phone, fax, or email.
CAN I REGISTER ONLINE?
Online registration is the preferred method for Activate registration.
I AM HAVING TROUBLE REGISTERING ONLINE. IS THERE ANOTHER METHOD?
Please contact The Student Collective for assistance if you are having trouble.
CAN I REGISTER AT BRAESIDE CAMP?
All pre-registration will occur online via the Student Collective until August 11. Registration will reopen online on August 22 at 9:00 am (if space permits) at the $75 rate. Leaders may register online during the day, or via their phone's web browser on-site at Braeside Camp.
WHAT DOES ACTIVATE REGISTRATION INCLUDE?
Registration includes all services and seminars, event activities and games, and access to Braeside camp facilities.
DO YOUTH PASTORS / LEADERS NEED TO PAY THE REGISTRATION FEE?
Yes, all leaders must pay the registration fee. However, each group will get ONE free pastor or leader registration.
IS THERE A REGISTRATION DEADLINE?
Yes. The last day to pre-register for Activate will be Sunday, August 11 at midnight. After this point, registration will reopen online on August 22 at 9:00am (if space permits) at the $75 rate, and leaders may register throughout the day or via their phone's web browser on site at Braeside Camp.
MY YOUTH GROUP ISN'T REGISTERING FOR ACTIVATE. WHAT CAN I DO?
You can try to find another youth group that is attending and register with them. Again, each person must be registered with a group.
ACCOMMODATIONS & MEALS
WHAT MEAL OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE?
Groups can purchase a meal plan directly from Braeside Camp (different options available) , or choose to prepare their own meals, or eat offsite.
WHERE WILL WE STAY?
Groups can choose to stay at Braeside Camp or offsite. Braeside has accommodation options at different price points, including cottages, dorms, trailers, and tent sites. Please visit Braeside's website for more info and contact them directly (519-442-3773) if you have any questions, and to book.
